- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and melted butter together until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Gently fold in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Sprinkle the top with Italian seasoning and additional cheese if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are crisp.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing into sticks. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra cheesiness, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the dough.
- For a spicy kick, incorporate 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes into the mix.
