Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting the cucumber into thick rounds, about 1/4-inch each, and place them on a clean surface.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with the fresh dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper until the mixture is creamy and well integrated.
  3. Take a cucumber round and generously dollop the cream cheese mixture onto it.
  4. If desired, layer a slice of smoked salmon or turkey on top of the cream cheese.
