Description
Delight in these Keto Cheese Bread Rolls made with beef fat instead of butter, perfect for a low-carb diet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup beef fat, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted beef fat, cream cheese, and eggs until smooth and well combined.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Fold in the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- Using your hands, form the dough into small rolls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the dry ingredients.
- Substitute the cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese, such as pepper jack or gouda, for a different flavor profile.
