Description

Jalapeño Popper Stuffed Burgers are a delicious twist on the classic burger, featuring a spicy and creamy jalapeño filling that takes your BBQ to the next level.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, and additional jalapeños

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and flatten each portion into a patty.
  3. Place a spoonful of the jalapeño cheese mixture in the center of two patties.
  4. Top with the remaining two patties and seal the edges to enclose the filling.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the burgers for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute.
  7. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
  • These burgers can also be cooked in a skillet if a grill is not available.
