Ingredients

- 1 large cucumber
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 8 slices of white bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by peeling the cucumber and slicing it thinly.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the cucumber slices on four of the bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down, to form sandwiches.
- Cut the sandwiches into quarters and serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using flavored cream cheese.
- These sandwiches are best served fresh but can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
