- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup crushed wonton chips or tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, lump crab meat, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), and lemon juice. Gently fold the ingredients together until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish (about 8×8 inches) and spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with crushed wonton chips or tortilla chips.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding 1/2 cup of chopped spinach or artichokes for extra flavor and texture.
- If you want a spicier dip, mix in a few dashes of hot sauce or diced jalapeños before baking.
