Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Cut the dough into desired chip shapes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the chips in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove chips and drain on paper towels.
  8. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar if desired.
