Ingredients

- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough discard, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into desired chip shapes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chips in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove chips and drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to avoid soggy chips.
- Store leftover chips in an airtight container for up to a week.
