Description

A refreshing summer drink made with cantaloupe and infused with fresh herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 ripe cantaloupe, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the cantaloupe cubes and water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp.
  3. Add the fresh mint and basil leaves to the pitcher.
  4. Stir in the lime juice and honey or agave syrup if using.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with additional mint or basil leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more honey or agave syrup.
  • For a stronger herb flavor, let the mixture infuse for longer.
