  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • 1 cup assorted fresh toppings (e.g., pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, spinach)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella and cream cheese. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute, stir well, then heat for another 30 seconds until the mixture is fully melted and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, combine the egg, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Once blended, add the melted cheese mixture and stir until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Place the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper and cover it with another sheet. Use a rolling pin to shape the dough into a heart, aiming for a thickness of about ¼ inch.
  5. Peel off the top layer of parchment and carefully transfer the heart-shaped dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust turns a lovely golden brown.
  6. After baking, take the crust out and evenly spread the pizza sauce over the surface. Top with shredded mozzarella and your favorite fresh ingredients. Finish with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
  7. Pop the pizza back into the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  8. Allow the pizza to cool for a few moments before slicing into pieces and serving.
