Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional for heat)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches, chopped cherries, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).
- Drizzle the lime juice over the mixture and add honey if you prefer a sweeter salsa.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips, grilled chicken, or as a topping for tacos.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, add diced mango or pineapple to the salsa.
- Substitute lime juice with lemon juice for a different citrus flavor.
