Ingredients

  • 1 cup shishito peppers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Toss shishito peppers with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill or sauté the peppers until charred and blistered, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. In a bowl, combine the charred peppers, lime juice, sour cream, mayonnaise, and cilantro.
  6. Mix until well combined and adjust seasoning to taste.
  7. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
