  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, melted butter, eggs, and cheddar cheese (if using). Mix until a dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the simmering beef mixture. Cover the skillet and let cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through and fluffy.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired. Pair with pork rinds, celery sticks, or cucumber slices for a crunchy side.
