Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Slice the bananas in half lengthwise, keeping the peel on.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add the dark rum and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- Place the bananas on the grill, cut side down, and grill for about 2-3 minutes until caramelized.
- Remove the bananas from the grill and place them on a serving plate.
- Drizzle the caramelized rum sauce over the grilled bananas.
- Serve with ice cream, chopped nuts, and whipped cream if desired.
