Gordon Ramsay’s Chicken Tikka Masala is a flavorful delight that combines marinated chicken with a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for serving with rice or naan.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 cup tomato purée
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix marinade ingredients and coat chicken. Marinate at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Grill or pan-sear chicken until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat oil and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and ginger; cook briefly.
  4. Add spices and stir. Pour in tomato purée and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream and add chicken pieces. Simmer for 5–10 minutes more.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.

  • For best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
