Description

Deliciously spicy and sweet chicken wings coated in a gochujang-infused honey sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the sauce.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more gochujang to the sauce.
  • Serve with a side of celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping.
  • These wings can also be grilled for a smoky flavor.
