- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup fruit jam (your choice, such as raspberry or strawberry)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon milk (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the warmed milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a large rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Spread the jam evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other to form a log. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the rolled dough on a greased baking sheet in a circular shape, forming a giant bun.
- Brush the top with milk and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
