  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and dusting them with flour.

  3. Incorporate the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract into the dry mixture, beating on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.

  8. On a serving plate, place the first layer and generously spread whipped cream on top, followed by a layer of Morello cherries.
  9. Continue layering with the remaining cake layers, ensuring to finish with whipped cream on the top layer.
