Description
Galaxy Grapes are a fun and colorful treat that combines grapes with chocolate and edible glitter, perfect for parties or a cosmic-themed snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups seedless grapes (red or green)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon blue food coloring
- 1 teaspoon purple food coloring
- 1/4 cup edible glitter or star-shaped sprinkles
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly. Make sure they are completely dry to ensure the chocolate adheres properly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Divide the melted chocolate into two separate bowls. Add blue food coloring to one bowl and purple food coloring to the other. Stir until the colors are well blended.
- Dip half of the grapes into the blue chocolate and the other half into the purple chocolate. Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the edible glitter or star-shaped sprinkles over the grapes. If desired, add mini marshmallows for an extra cosmic touch. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
Notes
- For a fun twist, try using different colors of food coloring to create your own galaxy effect.
- Substitute the white chocolate with dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
