Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, whisking until the mixture is uniform.
  2. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together. Then, add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is well blended.
  3. Gradually incorporate the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few small lumps; avoid overmixing.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly coat it with butter or oil.
  5. For each pancake, pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet.
  6. As the batter begins to set, spoon a dollop of Nutella into the center of each pancake.
  7. Carefully add another 1/4 cup of batter on top to encase the Nutella. Cook until small bubbles appear on the surface, roughly 2-3 minutes.
  8. Flip the pancake gently and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Continue this process with the remaining batter, reapplying butter or oil to the skillet as necessary.
