Description

Festive Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls are a delicious and flavorful appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded or diced turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup prepared stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (adjust as necessary)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded turkey, breadcrumbs, stuffing mix, chopped cranberries, diced celery, diced onion, parsley, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper until well blended.
  3. Incorporate the beaten egg and chicken broth, mixing until the ingredients are cohesive; if the mixture appears too crumbly, gradually add more chicken broth until it reaches a moldable consistency.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls, roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and arrange them on the lined baking sheet.
  5. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the tops of the turkey bites to enhance flavor and promote browning.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until they turn a lovely golden brown and are thoroughly heated.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, consider adding 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • You can also swap out dried cranberries for chopped apples or raisins to explore new flavor combinations.
