Elderflower & Hibiscus Sparkling Cooler: Refreshingly Unique!

Description

A refreshing and unique beverage combining the floral notes of elderflower with the tartness of hibiscus, perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup elderflower cordial
  • 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the hibiscus tea into a pitcher and let it cool.
  3. Add the elderflower cordial and fresh lemon juice to the cooled hibiscus tea.
  4. Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir gently.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less elderflower cordial.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, ensure all ingredients are alcohol-free.
  • This drink can be made in advance; just add the sparkling water right before serving.
