- 1 cup heavy cream

- 6 ounces cooked bacon, chopped

- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded Swiss cheese, chopped bacon, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and chives (if using).
- Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
