- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and parsley if using.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a flatbread on the prepared baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with additional melted butter if desired. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try sprinkling some Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes on top before baking.
- You can substitute the mozzarella cheese with cheddar for a different taste.
- Serve with pork rinds, celery sticks, or cucumber slices for a complete keto-friendly snack.
