- 1 cup mixed dried fruit (such as raisins, cranberries, and chopped apricots)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup candied cherries, chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the mixed dried fruit, chopped nuts, candied cherries, and white chocolate chips if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a festive twist, try adding 1 teaspoon of orange or lemon zest to the dough for a citrusy flavor.
- You can also substitute the mixed dried fruit with your favorite dried fruits or chocolate chips for a different taste.
