Instructions

- In a spacious bowl, combine the granulated sugar and softened butter, beating them together until light and airy.
- Incorporate the vanilla extract and mix until well blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is thoroughly mixed in before introducing the next.
- In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the creamed butter and sugar, stirring gently until just combined.
