- 1/2 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the dark chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped dried cherries, cocoa powder, sea salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- If using, fold in the crushed walnuts for added texture and flavor.
- Pour the ganache mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the ganache is firm.
- Once set, lift the ganache out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang and cut into bars.
