Description
Crispy Pork Udon is a delicious and flavorful dish featuring tender pork, fresh vegetables, and chewy udon noodles, all tossed in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces udon noodles
- 1 pound pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers (any color)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced pork, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until crispy and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the broccoli and bell peppers, and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the crispy pork to the skillet, then add the cooked udon noodles, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha.
- You can substitute the pork with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
