- 8 ounces jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, cooked shrimp, cooked crab meat, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the seafood mixture, using a spoon to fill them generously.
- In a baking dish, drizzle olive oil to coat the bottom. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, seam side up.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the stuffed shells.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some chopped spinach or artichokes into the seafood filling.
- If you prefer a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling mixture.
- Serve with pork rinds or cucumber slices for a crunchy side option.
