- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour this lemon mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar. Cut into squares and serve.
