Description
Crab Crescent Triangles are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines creamy crab filling with flaky crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the rolled triangles on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the tops with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the crab mixture.
- Substitute the crab meat with cooked shrimp or chicken for a different flavor profile.
