- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the brown sugar until smooth.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and instant coffee granules.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
- Spread the remaining batter on top and drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of instant coffee granules.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- These blondies can be frozen for up to 2 months.
