Description

A refreshing and creamy coconut yogurt tzatziki served with crispy za’atar chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 large pita breads
  • 2 tablespoons za’atar spice blend
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine coconut yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Cut pita breads into triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the pita triangles and sprinkle with za’atar spice blend.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until crispy and golden.
  6. Serve the coconut yogurt tzatziki with the za’atar chips for dipping.

Notes

  • For a thicker tzatziki, strain the grated cucumber to remove excess moisture.
  • Feel free to adjust the garlic and dill according to your taste preferences.
  • Za’atar chips can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
