Description

Cloud Bread is a light and fluffy low-carb alternative to traditional bread, perfect for sandwiches or as a dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp granulated sweetener (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, mix yolks, cream cheese, sweetener, and salt until smooth.
  4. Gently fold yolk mixture into whites. Spoon into 6 mounds on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Let cool before handling.

Notes

  • Use as sandwich buns or sweeten with cinnamon for a dessert version.
  • Store in an airtight container (best eaten fresh).
