Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2–3 tablespoons cold water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Blend tahini and lemon juice until creamy.
- Add garlic, cumin, and salt, and blend again.
- Add chickpeas and blend until smooth.
- Drizzle in water and olive oil while blending until creamy.
- Adjust seasoning and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
Notes
- For extra smooth hummus, peel the chickpeas before blending.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
