Description

This easy Classic Homemade Hummus recipe is creamy, smooth, and packed with flavor. It’s perfect for dipping, spreading, or snacking, and comes together in just 10 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 23 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Blend tahini and lemon juice until creamy.
  • Add garlic, cumin, and salt, and blend again.
  • Add chickpeas and blend until smooth.
  • Drizzle in water and olive oil while blending until creamy.
  • Adjust seasoning and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.

Notes

  • For extra smooth hummus, peel the chickpeas before blending.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
