Delightful festive tartlets filled with cream and topped with berry jam, perfect for Christmas celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (115g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
- ¼ cup (50g) sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1–2 tbsp cold water
- Pinch of salt
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup berry jam (cranberry, raspberry, or strawberry)
- A few spoonfuls of extra cream filling (for piping)
- Candy holly leaves / red sprinkles / mini red chocolate candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter until sandy and crumbly.
- Add egg yolk + cold water just until dough forms.
- Press dough into a mini muffin tin or tart molds.
- Prick bottoms with a fork.
- Bake 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar + vanilla → mix.
- Add heavy cream and beat until light, fluffy, and pipeable.
- Add 1–2 teaspoons jam into each tart shell.
- Pipe or spoon cream filling on top.
- Add a tiny swirl of extra cream on top for texture.
- Place 3 tiny red candies in the center → berries.
- Add 1–2 green leaf candies → holly or use mini sugared cranberries + mint for a natural version.
Notes
- For a quicker option, use refrigerated pie crust or pre-made tart shells.
- Feel free to mix and match different berry jams for variety.
- Decorate with seasonal candies for a festive touch.
