Description
A delightful and light Christmas Cloud Bread infused with rosemary and garlic, perfect for festive gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer.
- In another bowl, combine the egg yolks, cream cheese, salt, garlic powder, rosemary, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture in three additions, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating 6-8 mounds, shaping them into rounds or ovals about 1 inch thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the egg yolk mixture.
- Experiment with different herbs like thyme or oregano for customized taste.
