Instructions

- Add half of the prepared vanilla pudding on top of the cherries, smoothing it out gently.
- Layer half of the whipped cream over the pudding, spreading it to cover completely.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining chocolate cake, cherry pie filling, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.
- Finish by sprinkling dark chocolate shavings on top of the final layer of whipped cream.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries and fresh mint leaves for a festive touch.
- Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
