These delicious Chocolate Tahini Energy Balls are perfect for a quick snack or a healthy treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, tahini, honey (or maple syrup), cocoa powder, mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more tahini or honey to help it stick together.
  3. Once combined, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate the energy balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

  • For added flavor, try substituting almond butter for tahini.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon to the mixture for extra flavor.
