  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and diced strawberries gently to avoid breaking the strawberries.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
