- 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
- 1/2 cup crystallized ginger, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
- Once melted, stir in the matcha green tea powder until fully combined.
- Fold in the chopped crystallized ginger, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
- Pour the chocolate mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate is fully set.
- Once set, break the bark into pieces and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the chocolate mixture.
- Substitute the crystallized ginger with dried fruit like cranberries or apricots for a different flavor profile.
