Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Additional crushed chocolate sandwich cookies for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  2. Using your hands, scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  3. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  5. Remove the chilled truffles from the refrigerator. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
  6. Roll the truffles in additional crushed chocolate sandwich cookies for coating. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Once all truffles are coated, refrigerate them for an additional 15-20 minutes to set the chocolate.
  8. Serve chilled.
