Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, melt the butter in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.
- Add the egg yolk to the mixture and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Microwave the mug cookie on high for 40-60 seconds, or until the cookie is set but still soft in the center. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking.
- Let it cool for a minute before enjoying.
