Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Scoop the avocado halves out of their skins and cut each half into wedges.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and water until well combined.
  5. Dip each avocado wedge first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Place the coated avocado fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. While the fries are cooking, prepare the chipotle aioli by mixing mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle powder, and honey (if using) in a small bowl until smooth.
  9. Once the fries are done, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately with the chipotle aioli for dipping.
