A comforting and delicious Chicken Potpie Casserole that the whole family will love.

- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it over the top of the cheese, pinching the seams together to seal.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier filling, add an extra 1/2 cup of milk or a dollop of sour cream.
- To customize, substitute the mixed vegetables with your favorites, such as broccoli or green beans, or use leftover turkey instead of chicken.
