Ingredients

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and slice thinly.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve immediately.
