- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and slice thinly.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with parsley.
- Serve immediately.
