Description

A delightful and fresh appetizer featuring cherry tomatoes and creamy burrata on toasted sourdough bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sourdough bread
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the sourdough bread into thick slices.
  3. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  4. Toast the bread in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  7. Top each slice of bread with the tomato mixture.
  8. Carefully tear the burrata cheese and place it on top of the tomatoes.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • For extra flavor, drizzle balsamic glaze over the bruschetta before serving.
