- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the beef and vegetable mixture, then pour the cream mixture over it.
- Top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
