- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
- 1 package (12-count) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Open the package of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch to seal, forming a bun.
- Place the filled buns seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
- Substitute the cheddar cheese with pepper jack for an extra layer of flavor.
