- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese until well combined. You can microwave them for about 30 seconds to make mixing easier.
- Add the eggs to the cheese mixture and stir until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cheese mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if using.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small mounds or a loaf shape, depending on your preference.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cheese bread to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the dough.
- Try substituting the mozzarella with cheddar cheese for a different flavor profile.
- Serve with pork rinds, celery sticks, or cucumber slices for a complete keto-friendly snack.
