Description
A simple and delicious recipe for carnivore crepes made with just eggs and butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten. Add the melted butter and a pinch of salt, and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease the skillet with a small amount of butter.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the egg mixture into the skillet, tilting the pan to spread the mixture evenly into a thin layer.
- Cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift and the bottom is lightly golden.
- Carefully flip the crepe using a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until set.
- Remove the crepe from the skillet and place it on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining egg mixture, greasing the skillet as needed.
- Serve warm, either plain or with your favorite carnivore-friendly toppings.
Notes
- For a savory twist, add herbs like chives or parsley to the egg mixture before cooking.
- For a sweeter option, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon to the batter.
